Back to school.

Today I began my junior year of high school. It was pretty sweet. Being an upperclassman is much more fun. And it’s nice knowing the school and most of the teachers.

After our half day, I went to Chic-fil-a with some friends. Then, my friend, Alex, and I walked downtown and took fun pictures with cheap cameras we bought at the dollar store. I haven’t used a camera with film in forever… Need to get them developed and scan them.

What I wore today:
Sunglasses - Charlotte Russe; T-shirt - Kohl's; Skirt - Thrifted; Belt - Forever 21; Jazz shoes - UO via Gabe's

Wedding

What I wore to my brother's wedding and reception yesterday.

Dress - Richard Chai for Target; Flats - Payless
The dress is soooo wonderful.
The camera is my grandmother's boyfriend's. He let me borrow it so I could take pictures.
My nephew, Caleb, wanted to "Say Cheeeeeeese!" before he got dressed.
Tomorrow's the first day of my junior year! I'm so excited. :D:D:D

End of summer?

I start back to school on Monday. This is my last weekday of summer holiday.
It's starting to cool down already. At least I have vacation with my family in a month.
Dress - Forever 21; Belt - Good Will; Shoes - My grandmother's closet
I wore this to go shopping with my brother for some last minute things for his wedding. His fiancée didn't trust him to do it right, so she sent me along. Ha ha.

Shopping Adventures

So, I changed my mind about quitting. The break was nice, but I have that "urge to blog" again.
I wonder if anyone still even bothers checking my site. :\
Oh, well.

Anyway, last Sunday my grandma and I went to Altoona, PA (about 1 1/2 hours from home) to do a bit of back-to-school shopping.

I didn't want to spend too long going on about the clothing so I just made a (very, very bad) collage of the majority of my purchases.

I also bought a very wonderful dress that I'll show in a post Friday when I wear it to my brother's wedding reception.

Wednesday I went with my friend, Alex; her mom; and her grandmother shopping in Monroeville and Pittsburgh, PA.
I only had $100 on me, so I mainly looked for accessories.

Oh, and Tuesday night I spent the night at her house. It was a night of:

Gorging on frozen mochas from Sheetz.

Dressing up her walls with neat contact paper.

Creepy photoshoots.
Bright photoshoots.

Plus, accidently breaking this smelly glass thing in her bathroom and slicing my foot open and then her cutting her finger while cleaning up the glass.

Oh, yeah! & we stopped at our local Good Will. :)

$3

$1

$6

Oh, well, I just realized I need to get to bed because I have to get up pretty early in the morning.
I'll post what I actually bought Wednesday tomorrow!

Done?

So, I haven't bothered blogging at all lately. I just haven't felt like it.
I thought it was just because I'm lazy and uninspired by summer. I figured that after I went back-to-school shopping I'd want to blog again.
Well, I went yesterday, and while I love my new clothes, I just really don't have an "urge" to blog.

I don't know, I guess that means I'm done for now. I'll probably still post any outfits I think of on wardrobe_remix, weardrobe, and (maybe) chictopia.
Who knows? Maybe I'll get an urge to blog again after school starts. Probably not.

Actually, I've never really done much besides outfit posts, so if I post on those sites mentioned above, I don't think there'd be any difference. Haha.

I think I want to be a semi-normal teenager for once instead of worrying about blogging. Once school starts up I'd most likely be too busy to blog anyway. Between plays I'm in, AP classes, and various choir auditions, I'm going to be exhausted.

So, farewell for now! Many thanks to anyone who actually reads this.

P.S. I still will/do read other blogs daily. & I'll try to still comment all of your blogs.

Dorothy?

It wasn't intentional, but that's kind of what I felt like in this outfit. Maybe a high Dorothy, though.

This is what I wore to go shopping with my mom, brother (Danny), and nephew (Caleb) for clothes for Danny for his wedding in August.

Dress - gift from my friend, Alex; Belt - Good Will; Shoes - Good Will.
The basket I usually keep in my room with a supply of chocolate in for that time of the month.

Afterwards, we stopped by Gabriel Brother's and I bought a few things.
This top was originally from UO and I got it for $5.
These tights were $.99. They have a lovely lace-like design.

Lastly, these jazz shoes that I think were originally from UO. They were $6.99. And a somewhat close up of the tights.

My nephew, Caleb, after shopping. :)
